A WIDE VARIETY OF BIGOTS... October 21, 1997 -- The Anti-Defamation League released a report today on what it calls the dark side the Internet. It says, "the World Wide Web is a powerful new tool for groups that want to spread messages of hate and extremism. NPR's Kathleen Schaech reports the study says the Internet offers racists, anti-Semites, and anti-government extremists, another way to recruit new members and spread misinformation - particularly to young people." The National Alliance of Hate Crimes Investigators and District Attorneys Association agrees with the findings of the ADL.
Hate is a terrible thing that lives within us all. Most people have a great deal of control over their hatred. Most people, but not all. Some embrace their hate and let it manifest in many different forms. One of those forms is racism. Racism is when you believe, for any reason, that one race is better than another. This is the case today in many parts of the world. This "disease" called racism has now crept into the new world man (as in human) has created. Racism is on the internet. This document contains information on certain web sites that are spewing their lies about other races.
