Recognizing the Gift
On every step of our journey through life, each of us carries the unique prospective of our age, race, gender, color, national origin, spiritual belief, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability / ability, wisdom, youth and economic circumstance.
We can choose to see these difference as divisions which
keep us divided, or we can
choose to view diversity as a gift to be cherished and nurtured.
For our world to survive in this time of intense and
quickening change, we need the vision and insight of
each person, the strength and wisdom of each culture.
So, if we truly care
about children and people like we say we do. And if we are
willing to make a positive difference in their lives of people and
children, as we say we do, than we need to touch flesh. (whereby we talk to
each other and not at each other) We build bridges of communication and
understanding.
