On
June 2, 2000, the National Alliance of Hate Crime Investigators and
District Attorneys Association (NAOHCI Aka:
National Alliance) was formed with the assistance of the National District
Attorney's Association. The Association has chosen to focus on early
education and communication through prevention and intervention, Investigation,
community policing, and public relations as its key agenda.
The
Association is also dedicated to assisting residents and youth in the
awareness of what a bias hate crime is, how to report it, and how to
prevent it. With the use of speakers, trainers and our dedicated
Alliance Officers and you, we will accomplish our mission.
The
National Alliance works closely with Communities, young
teens, Educators, Human Relations Groups and Religious organizations. We
provide them with the opportunity to spend time with others from diverse racial, ethnic, social and cultural
backgrounds, which will give them leadership and communication skills on
how to reduce prejudice bias related hate.
